the wood
The wood is your canvas.
It can be natural or colored.
Natural wood
When engraved, the wood gets darker.
White
With white wood the result is close but the contraste is stronger.
Yellow
Give it some pop with yellow !
Black
Watch out !
The colored layer is removed and the natural wood appears. It makes the engraved parts lighter than the background.
Blue
Once again, engraved parts are lighter than the background.
Red
The color of love ?
Same same, the natural wood appears after the laser has engraved the colored layer.

> Prefer a contrasted picture
WANT TO USE the FULL POWER ?
Full power can't be used to engrave the small dots.
But it's possible if you choose a pure black and white illustration.
You'll have a nice relief.
