What is your artistic universe ?
My artistic universe is basically made of what my perception of beauty and elegance is, in fact, my artistic background and major inspirations comes from Renaissance paintings and painters so when I create art I always try to create something harmonic and pleasant to watch. I also have an artistic side made of childhood memories and dreams: I love children illustration and watercolors, and I also love creating dreamy and relaxing atmospheres in my illustrations.
How would you define your graphic style ?
mmh…I will define my graphic style as something of another epoque!
The drawing techniques that I love better are markers and for what concerns colors I use watercolors or ecoline.
What is your relation with skateboarding ?
I used to skateboarding when I was 17/18 and I absolutely loved it! There’s a little skatepark in my small town and I have really nice memories of time spent there! Then I quit because I felt in love with aerial silks and pole dancing, and I’m still practising both so unfortunately I don’t have so much time for skateboarding anymore…also, I love snowboarding in winter!
What is the connection between your art and skateboarding ?
There is no direct connection but I think that handmade drawings perfectly fits skateboards!
How did you envisage this collaboration ? Why this drawing ?
I’m super super excited to collaborate with Le Shape! It is so cool to see my illustrations engraved on a skateboard especially because these engraving works are stunning!
About the choice of the drawing I just thought wild animals match well with skateboards, and plus,I love them! J
